When you work near food you need to apply best safety practices to ensure you are close to food in a healthy manner. It is an introductory course which introduces learners to the basic principles of food, safety and hygiene in an establishment where food is prepared or stored.

The Level 1 – Food Safety course will discuss a range of topics such as food hygiene, food safety practices, food contamination, how to prevent contamination and why it is important to practice food safety. It is a beginner level course for individuals with an interest in preparing food safely.
