Course Description

Course Title : Creating a Positive Environment for Learning

This course addresses the management skills that are vital for personal health and well-being in schools. The course allows teachers to implement subject areas of the curriculum in a way that is beneficial to their own personal health and that of their pupils. The skills learned in this course are life-long, and vital to the health and well-being of teachers. These skills are transferable and will seek to give teachers the know-how to deal effectively with the daily stressors which appear in every form, in every classroom, and in every school. The cross-curricular and integrated nature of the curriculum is such that the skills and experiences demonstrated in this course will allow the teachers to implement subject areas such as SPHE, Drama and Physical Education more holistically.
