Worldskills Ireland takes place 13th – 15th SEPTEMBER 2022, at the RDS, Simmonscourt. Worldskills Ireland is a partnership between enterprise, industry, education, training and government that raises the profile and recognition of skills and apprenticeships and prepares the talent of today for the careers of the future.

Over three action-packed days, Worldskills Ireland will facilitate an atmosphere of experimentation and discovery through competitions, interactive events and demonstrations. It is an event that will inspire the next generation of skilled young people to follow their passions, interests and talents for the securement of their own future, and of Ireland’s.

Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Niall Collins commented “WorldSkills Live is an excellent promotional event for apprenticeships and traineeships in Ireland, showing that they are attractive routes for young people to gain an internationally recognised qualification and to develop up to date and relevant skills.”

“I’m also thrilled to say we have a track record of significant success at the competition, and for that, we should be very proud, but I think it is also important that Ireland’s achievements in practical skills are recognised at home. WorldSkills Ireland 2022 provides an opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of options available to learners in practical education and training.” is Ireland’s largest part-time course finder database, with thousands of part-time courses, evening, morning and weekend classes and adult education courses to choose from.
