Cork Training Centre is now taking applications for its upcoming Skills to Compete – Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) Traineeship.

This tutor-led full-time day course is delivered Monday to Thursday and on Friday morning for 26 weeks and starts from 28/06/2021.

This course is aimed at those who are currently unemployed and wish to gain a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts 8064-01:

The aim of the Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts is aimed at learners who are looking to start or develop their careers in the hospitality industry and will incorporate the latest trends and technology in food preparation and culinary arts in the sector.

Employability Statement:
Candidates who complete their qualifications will receive a digital badge in addition to their City and Guilds certificate. The digital badge will showcase their qualifications and the skills they can offer within the hospitality sector.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Junior Certificate or equivalent
  • Aptitude: An interest in working in the hospitality industry
  • Previous Experience: None required
