NUI Galway is offering a MicroCreds module in Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Transformation taking place in Semester 1 (6th September to 16th December) 2022.

Artificial Intelligence (Ai) is one of the defining disruptive innovations of our age. Each year new Ai apps realise greater value for customers and generate rapid return on investment for many distinct types of organisations. Conversational platforms such as chatbots and tools like siri from Apple have popularised the value of Ai.
However, investment in Ai also carries big risks with over half of organisations failing to create value with their pilot projects. These failures occur for many reasons, but many arise from poor decision-making by managers. Ai Managers must often decide between the competing needs of how to build internal Ai maturity, when to collaborate with Ai service providers and how and when to change embedded information architectures.

Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Transformation

This module explores the development of an effective AI strategy and transformation process for helping managers who champion change to address these challenges and realise the full potential of Ai for their organisation.
Specific learning outcomes include Understanding Innovation, Defining Ai Goals, Managing Ai Actions, Empowering Ai Teams, Monitoring Ai Results, Developing Ai Strategies.
Application deadline is the 26th of August 2022
