About Us

Wicklow Information Network (WIN) has made a significant impact upon many aspects of life in the garden county since its establishment in 1999. It has equipped people in rural Co. Wicklow with computer expertise ranging from basic to Microsoft Office Specialist, and provides an invaluable service in the light of the pace of change in the technology industry.

If you want to learn IT, web and computer skills, then WIN offers you a great opportunity to do just that, in one of our SEVEN Training Centres in County Wicklow. We offer a smaller selection of courses than some other educational establishments, so that we can give our students the quality of training they deserve. We can also deliver training on an outreach basis. Have laptops will travel!

WIN promotes the importance of life long learning, and one the many initiatives that it has undertaken includes training programmes for unemployed people which are run in conjunction with FÁS. These programmes have been designed to develop or upgrade people’s skills, which is very important for today’s workforce. WIN has worked closely with FÁS for many years and is a FÁS Certified Training Organisation, and in 2006 achieved the FÁS Excellence Through People Award.

Currently WIN is offering businesses in Co. Wicklow a fantastic opportunity to avail of training for their workforce at a fraction of the normal course cost under the FAS Services to Business programme. FÁS will pay 70% of the cost for Basic Computers, ECDL, MOS Expert & Core.
