The Walmer College operates as a teaching therapy centre promoting personal growth and development through the holistic approach to living. The college was founded in 1989 in response to the steadily growing public demand for professional training in the area of complementary therapies. The changing attitudes in health care and the increasing trend towards the use of natural therapies are reflected by the success of the college to date.  Walmer college also entered the Beauty Industry and offers Beauty Specialist Diploma Course. With its expansion this year, the College now operates from 2 prime Locations, Raheny Dublin 5 and Dublin Docklands. 

Walmer College (RAHENY) is situated in River House, an elegant building in the heart of Raheny village, the college provides an ideal setting in which to pursue a new and exciting career. River House is located less than 2 minutes walk from the Raheny Dart station, a few minutes drive from M50/M1 and on major bus routes from the City Centre.  Raheny centre also includes a busy Complementary Therapy Clinic offering over 30 therapies to Clients.

Walmer College (DUBLIN DOCKLANDS) is situated in the Liffey Trust Building behind The O2 Arena (Point Depot) and Point Village.  It is accessable from the East Link Toll Bridge from the South side of Dublin and the Port Tunnell from the north side of dublin.  The Area is serviced by the No 53 Bus, Iarnrod Eireann Dublin - Maynooth - Longford line into the Docklands Train Station and in early 2009, the Luas will run to the Point Village.  The Docklands centre also includes the Walmer Spa, Dermalogica Skin Bar & Clinic, Hair & Beauty Clinic and Walmer Corporate Events. 

The college is based on the principle of working with body mind and spirit in a safe and gentle atmosphere. Working with the concept that ‘the greatest drugstore in the world is your own body’. It has the power to manufacture every drug or chemical you need in order to function in a healthy manner. Your body is manufacturing insulin, cortisone, adrenaline, histamines, antibiotics, laxatives and mood-changing drugs. It is a matter of restoring the body’s natural balance, bringing the body mind and spirt into harmony. 

Laura Hilliard-Brady and Michelle Burke Delaney, Directors of Walmer College are both passionate about the therapies they teach. Along with their strong team of experienced Tutors, they bring each of their students through the experience their choosen Course, providing support and understanding along the way.
