Education is a lifelong process for every one of us. Some may continue with formal education for quite a long time before going on to do other things. Some may choose, or may be forced by their circumstances, to end their formal education much sooner. But none of us ever stops learning.

In a fast-moving modern society, the continuing nature of education is more important than ever. Old skills become obsolete, new skills come to be in high demand. The people who can participate most effectively in this society are those who are most open to new ideas, most adaptable and willing continually to re-educate themselves and broaden their perspectives.

With all of this very firmly in mind, Trinity College offers a wide range of evening courses in many different fields. These cover languages, information technology, and various aspects of science, arts and culture and will be of value both to those who are seeking specific skills and those who want to broaden their horizons in interesting ways. We hope that you find something that whets your appetite in the following pages.
