About us

St. Kevin's College, established in 1952, offers a wide range of career focused Further Education Courses. We cater for Leaving Certificate Students, Mature Students and VTOS students.

Certification from FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council), The National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Business and Technical Education Council (BTEC) for Diplomas in Media Production and Outdoor Recreation, National Governing Bodies of various Outdoor Sports, REC Rescue and Emergency Care (Ireland) Certificate.

College facilities include well equipped laboratories, modern computer facilities, T.V. & Video, Editing suites including Avid, minibus, full range of equipment for canoeing, rock climbing, mountaineering etc. Watersports base on Blessington Lake with Darragh 14 and G.P. 14 dinghies, Toppers and Achats. Excellent modern workshops, Art studios etc.

Career Guidance and Counselling service is provided.

Psychological Service is also available to students.

This year St. Kevin’s College offers a new suite of courses which will have nationally and internationally recognised assessment for the award of certification by the FETAC Awards. These courses are listed as FETAC modules on the following lists. Examinations, assignments, etc. will be given for this purpose. A fee to FETAC will be necessary for examination and certification of these courses.

The College aims to cater for all the needs of community and would welcome requests from groups or individuals for classes not already listed. Additional classes will be provided if there is sufficient demand.

  • Classes may be closed or amalgamated if attendance falls below a minimum number
  • Fees are provisional and are subject to change at the discretion of the Committee

Enrolment will take place between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm on Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th, and on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th September. Classes will commence on Monday 19th September 2005. Enrolments for the second term will take place on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th, January 2006.

Cheques, which are accepted only with a current banker’s card, should be crossed and made payable to the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.
