St. Kevin's College, established in 1952, offers a wide range of career focused Further Education Courses. We cater for Leaving Certificate Students, Mature Students and VTOS students.
Certification from FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council), The National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Business and Technical Education Council (BTEC) for Diplomas in Media Production and Outdoor Recreation, National Governing Bodies of various Outdoor Sports, REC Rescue and Emergency Care (Ireland) Certificate.
College facilities include well equipped laboratories, modern computer facilities, T.V. & Video, Editing suites including Avid, minibus, full range of equipment for canoeing, rock climbing, mountaineering etc. Watersports base on Blessington Lake with Darragh 14 and G.P. 14 dinghies, Toppers and Achats. Excellent modern workshops, Art studios etc.

· This course enables students to complete a range of video assignments, including camera work, lighting, editing, voice-over by audio dub etc.

· This module introduces the skills of capturing, developing and printing black and white images.
| Drawing & Painting (Level II FETAC) |
· Introduces a range of drawing and painting techniques and media, fosters creativity and self expression.
· This course gives an appropriate introduction to the world of film.
· The modern way to fitness.
· Starting from scratch, to use modern packages.
· Colour scheming, lighting, fabrics and decoration.
· Planning and cooking an appropriate menu for the modern household.
· Introducting the Clare Set, Caledonian etc.
· Metalwork techniques, tools and machinery for the model engineer.
· Practical course in choice and restoration of furniture.
· Basic Colour schemes, design, layout and balance in this popular pastime.
