Course Content
Indian Head Massage includes massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears. It is a wonderfully relaxing therapy. The massage is safe, simple to learn and very effective to give, without the need to undress or use oils. It can provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth, soothe, comfort and rebalance your energy flow which gives you a deep sense of peace, calm and tranquillity.

ITEC Hot Stone massage and LaStone Therapy

.jpg) This course offers two qualifications in one. Hot stone is becoming an increasingly popular treatment in Ireland amongst salons and spas. It offers the therapist relief for their tired, over worked hands and wrists, a break from exhausting hours of massage or deep tissue work and assists in bringing balance to the Mind Body and Spirit.

- History of Stone Therapy
- Types of stones
- Breath work
- Energy work incl introduction to the auric field
- Stone layouts incl full spinal layout and sacred Chakra placement
- Prescriptive Treatments
- Intensive geo-thermotherapy science
- Analysis of symptom responses within the body to temperature
- Essential stone massage techniques
- Five elements link to stone therapy
- Contra Indications and considerations
- All training equipment & illustrated training manuals supplied by training centre
- ITEC exams take place in June
Duration: 50 Hours Pre-requisite - Recognised massage qualification required
Qualification: ITEC Hot Stone Certificate and LaStone Certificate

ITEC Holistic Massage Course

In recent years there has been great emphasis on the use of 'natural' or complementary treatments and in modern life there are many pressures leading to undue stress, which result in illness. The Holistic Therapist treats the person as a whole and takes the person's thinking, lifestyle, physical and social environment into consideration while guiding the client towards better health. We also have courses available for anyone requiring an Anatomy and Physiology qualification
