About Us

Pulse Recording College has a proven track record in sound engineering education. In its 15 year history, Pulse has consistently provided a creative, inspiring and friendly environment in which students can develop their technical and creative skills. We pride ourselves in preparing our students for the workplace, ensuring that they have the expertise to be the sound engineers of the future, both here in Ireland and further afield. Our courses are designed to combine comprehensive practical tuition with an emphasis on developing your own creative potential. The accompanying theory lectures are delivered by our experts who have years of experience in presenting the concepts behind audio engineering.

Pulse is an Apple Authorised Training Centre offering courses in Logic and Final Cut Pro and is the only college in Ireland to have been awarded Digidesign ProSchool.

Our qualifications include City & Guilds, FAS Approved FETAC certifications Digidesign and Apple.

We prepare students for all areas of the audio industry including Recording Studios , Film and Location Sound, Live Sound, Remixing, Surround Mixing, Mastering, Archiving, Computer Games, Multimedia, Creating Loops and Ring Tones, Sound FX, Audio for News and Talk Shows, Acoustic Design etc.

Our graduates have gone on to work with many great artists including: 50 Cent, Snoop Dog, U2, REM, The Corrs, Kylie Minogue, 5ive and Elvis Costello. Also, in studios such as Windmill Lane, Windmill Pictures, BIFFCO Studios, Westland Studios, Salt Studios and various other areas of the music industry including; Slane, Witness, Homelands, Ardmore Studios, RTE, FM104, MTV London, Metropolis Studio, London, AC/DC, No Frontiers, Bachelors Walk, Only Fools Buy Horses, Brown Bag Animation, MUZU.com, the list goes on.....
