Independent Colleges is a new concept in Irish education providing goal-focused, personalised tuition, supported by Independent News & Media plc. The objective of the College is to develop successful and prestigious second-level, third-level and lifelong learning programmes. These programmes will benefit from the best resources, be inspired by the highest quality teaching and provide students with a unique commitment to individual attention.

The College's Law Society Entrance Examination Preparatory Course (FE1) will commence on November 5th. Students will have the option to study this course through evening or weekend courses. A diverse range of short-term Arts programmes in Psychology, Philosophy, Management Skills, Fashion, Journalism, Law and Communications which will commence in October 2008. In August 2008, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) programme will begin.

Independent Colleges full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Law, Media and Journalism will run from the academic year 2008/2009 beginning late September 2008.
