Welcome to the Galligan Beauty Group, where since 1976, we have been at the forefront of the Beauty Therapy profession in Ireland. During that time we have established a nationwide reputation for the quality of our individual, personalised and confidential attention. Our secret? Simple really: that self same emphasis on personal attention begins here in our classrooms and in our beauty salons. That’s why they require the services of a professional Beauty Therapist. And that’s why they approach the graduates if the Galligan College of Health, Beauty and Body Therapy. It was in 1976 that Kay Galligan opened the Portobello Beauty and Sauna Centre in Dublin 8. The beauty salon offered a full range of Beauty, Body, Slimming and Electrolysis treatments and was a tremendous success. By 1980 Lorraine and Careena Galligan, Newly qualified in Beauty Therapy had joined the family company and saw the opening of a beauty training centre and salon in 109 Grafton Street, Dublin 2. The Galligan Beauty Group worked hard on increasing the standard of training in Ireland and establishing a nationwide reputation, while consolidating the Galligan credo of individual attention for all their students and clients. The company today continues to educate and expand its knowledge in Health and Beauty Therapy training and Beauty Salon management. Kay, Lorraine and Careena have attained numerous Beauty Therapy qualifications, including the prestigious C.I.D.E.S.C.O international Diploma, the British C.I.B.T.A.C and I.T.E.C Diplomas plus post graduate courses including Teaching Diploma, Aromatherapy, Aerobics, Advanced Electrolysis, Reflexology, Make up artistry and Life Coaching diplomas. Little wonder since 1976, the Galligan have established a successful College of Health, Beauty and Body Therapy.
