Part-time
courses – commencing September 2008
In today’s
fast-paced work environment and competitive job market, studying
part-time is now more popular than ever. At the Dublin Institute
of Technology we offer almost 150 part-time evening courses which
lead to a wide range of qualifications up to postgraduate level.
And right now you can click
here for full details on the courses in each of our six faculties,
application procedures and support services available.
Subject areas
you can study include computing, engineering, management, construction
through to health and safety, baking, legal studies and many more.
So whatever your current area of expertise is and whatever your
career aspirations are, at DIT there is a course for you.
The Dublin
Institute of Technology also has the necessary supports in place
to enable you to balance part-time study with work, family or financial
commitments. Dr Jen Harvey, Head of our Lifelong Learning Unit,
explains; ‘At DIT, we ensure that our courses are conveniently
scheduled at times to suit our students many of whom are working
full-time. We have now begun to introduce online materials so learners
are able to study at a time and place that suits them best, with
all the support they might need to get started!’ Liaising
closely with industry, every effort is also made to make sure that
courses are relevant, up-to-date and tailored to cater for individual
learner’s needs.
The Admissions
Office team is available to answer any queries you may have
and to help you find the right course. You can also contact the
Admissions Office to request a part-time prospectus which will be
available from August. Part-time courses commence in early September
each year. Please check individual course information on our website
for enrolment details.
