Higher
National Diploma in Interior Design
An intensive two-year programme, available full-time,
part-time, or in the evening. This programme will provide
you with a superb grounding in both the theory and applied
skills required for a successful career in interior
design. Successful participants are immediately employable
in a variety of disciplines: retail, commercial, and
domestic. Graduates may also progress to degree programmes
in Ireland or the UK. The course is validated by BTEC,
the UK's leading third level awarding body.
Associate
Diploma In Interior Design
This popular programme is run either one morning or one evening per week [over 22 weeks] or one full day a week [over 12 weeks]. The programme will give you a good grounding in the fundamental technical skills and basic design concepts required to complete design projects in a residential setting. Dublin Institute of Design validates and certifies this course: Participants can select RHODEC International validation if required.
Your
Designer Home
This 8-week course is run either on one morning or one
evening each week. The course covers the fundamentals
of Interior Design and Decoration, enabling you to apply
this knowledge in your own home or as a stepping stone
to a more advanced course.
Visual
Merchandising & Window Dressing
This course is run over six evenings, with the objective of ensuring that you are furnished with basic visual merchandising awareness and skills, enabling you to grow your portfolio of expertise within your existing retail working environment or re-channel your careers towards becoming a Visual Merchandiser / Display Artist. The programme covers Fixtures & Fittings, Mannequins, Use of Props, Graphics, Grouping of Objects, Merchandising and Lighting.

This new and dynamic course is a practical introduction to Image and Styling. Whether you work in fashion retail, or aspire to, or you want to start your own Image Consulting business, or whether you just want to re-invent your own personal style and that of your friends, this is the course for you! in Garden Design
This 10-week course is an exciting introduction to the subject of Garden Design. It is intended for anyone with a passion for garden design, who might either be looking for the inspiration and knowledge needed for designing their own garden or is considering garden design as a possible future career.
AutoCAD
AutoCAD
is an increasingly critical skills component required
of professionals working in the design industry. This
City & Guilds validated course is aimed at training
participants to industry-standard in the use and execution
of AutoCAD Architecture 2008. Participants will undertake
City & Guilds' exciting new syllabus involving the Global
Online Assessment (GOLA). The Institute runs evening
and day programmes for both AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD 3D.
