Who we are

Crumlin College has earned a reputation for excellence in further education through continuous innovation and attention to changing student needs. A well-established College of Further Education, it provides a range full-time and part-time day and evening courses.

Crumlin College is part of a wide network of Colleges in the Dublin area which operates under the authority of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee (CDVEC).

Crumlin College in providing the range of courses detailed below, strives to encourage the development of interpersonal and social skills, so as to make students more effective participants in the workforce and/or further education.

Our Courses

Courses offered in Crumlin College:

Courses are provided in the personal services area – Beauty, Hair & Fashion, Fitness & Sports Therapy, Tourism & Catering. In addition, it addresses business skills development in areas such as Accounting, Business & Office Technologies as well as Information Technology & Multimedia Design. Courses in all these areas are offered during full-time day, part-time day and evening programmes.

Services offered in Crumlin College:

Crumlin College offers a number of services in Adult Education providing an extensive literacy and Adult Education programmes in support of the education needs of the surrounding community. The first Open Learning Centre on Dublin’s Southside was launched in Crumlin College in April 1999. The key to the Open Learning Centre is providing a flexible and more open approach in the use of computers which allows individuals to learn and progress at their own pace.


Mature Students/Vocational Training Educational
Opportunities Scheme (VTOS):

Crumlin College provides opportunities for adults to return to full-time or part-time education. Mature students are welcome to apply for entry to any of the courses offered by the College. An Adult Education Guidance Service is available in the College to assist in choosing a suitable course. The Crumlin College VTOS Programme allows unemployed adults to return to full-time education without losing their benefits.


Enrolment & Registration:

Full-time Courses:
Application forms are available directly from the College Admissions Office and will be accepted from January to September 2007. Due to the practical nature of our courses, there are only a limited number of paces available, so early enrolment is advised. Interviews will be held in March, April or May 2007.

Part-time Courses:
Enrolments commence 10th January 2007.
Office Hours: 6.45-8.45pm Monday to Thursday ONLY.
Courses commence week of 24th January 2007.

Part-time Courses:
Courses commence the last week in September.
