Who we are

Ashfield College Ireland -
the Education Centre, was founded in 1977 in Templeogue, South County Dublin, Ireland. It is a quiet, safe residential area, on the main bus routes, well away from city centre distractions. The College is non-denominational, co-educational and achieves excellent results for our students, year after year in a cheerful and productive atmosphere.

Ashfield offers a wide range of programmes ranging from University Preparation (The Leaving Certificate) to accredited Certificates and Diplomas in Business/Accounting. Full time Postgraduate computer training courses are also available.
The Leaving Certificate is our speciality. You can join us as a 5th year, 6th year, or Repeat Leaving student.

Ashfield College offers exceptional teaching, a supportive environment and an unrivalled stepping stone into further education. Whatever the academic needs, ambitions or capabilities of a student, Ashfield College has the means to get you there. Our fundamental objective has been to ensure that all of our students achieve their own individual academic goals whatever they may be. Find out more at www.ashfield-college.com

Accommodation
We will arrange full accommodation with local families for students from outside Dublin. Please ask our secretary for details.

Repeat Leaving Certificate
Why repeat at Ashfield College?
Consider some of these issues before making your decision.

  • Classes are small and consequently each student gets proper attention.
  • The teaching is of the highest calibre and many of the tutors are subject examiners with the Department of Education.
  • Ongoing assessment and exam preparation are a central part of the programme.
  • Each student gets feedback and advice on examination techniques.
  • Regular assignments are a central ingredient in developing the students' motivation and confidence in facing the final test.
  • Students are away from distractions and temptations of the City Centre.
  • Ashfield is a small college where the individual is important and what's more, we have a history of excellent results.
