New business start-up course with a unique online focus

Award-winning Eden Training is to launch an innovative new course that allows budding entrepreneurs to turn their business idea into a professional and profitable website in just 16 weeks. 

Entitled ‘Create Your Online Business’, the programme provides students with core business skills such as finance and marketing, in addition to the latest e-business techniques: from web design to social networking.

The course is a step-by-step programme encompassing intensive weekly workshops, group projects and private mentoring in the critical areas of finance, marketing, web content and design. Trainees meet weekly goals with the help of online support, until the ultimate aim is achieved of a working business model that includes a website, branding, and a business plan that is geared toward securing investment and grant aid.

‘This is an exciting new approach in business training,’ says Programme Coordinator James Bannigan. ‘We have taken the traditional “start your own business” course, with all its core business skills, and added a digitally creative, hands-on approach, whereby trainees actually build their online business during the programme.’  

The course will run each Saturday for 16 weeks from 1100 to 1700. Topics will include: Introduction to Business Planning, Financial Management, Branding, Website Development & Marketing.

Create Your Online Business will be facilitated by Eden Training’s high calibre team of experienced trainers and experts in subject matters such as graphic and web design. The course offers full certification in the form of an Eden Training Diploma. By completing two assignments and a final project during the, students may also apply for a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in eBusiness Studies.
