New MASA course at Bronwyn Conroy

Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School are now offering a MASA – Makeup Art Standards Authority – course.

This fully accredited course focuses on the skills needed to work in fashion, editorial and TV or film.

Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School work closely with the London School of Beauty and Make-up. As a result, the team are up-to-date with any new initiatives within the industry and updates to the course.

VTCT have approved the MASA course material. VTCT, Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a UK government-approved awarding organisation. Their qualifications are also in line with Irish National Framework of Qualifications.

About the MASA course

The award is a foundation course. It covers the basic beauty principles of makeup artistry, and therefore, this course is ideal for beginners.

The course syllabus includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Practical and theoretical workshops
  • Skin science
  • Facial architecture and contouring
  • Colour theory
  • Corrective techniques
  • Hygiene and health
  • Industry codes of conduct

The course starts in January and runs for 10 weeks.

Students must be at least 18 years old and be able to communicate in English. However, no previous makeup training is required.
