Dundrum Academy of Performing Arts

The Dundrum Academy of Performing Arts provides intensive training in drama, dance and music for kids aged 4-17. DAPA offers top training with well-known actors and performers, and is run by industry professionals.

DAPA’s acting courses cover a wide range of skills. These include imaginative improvisation, acting skills, mime, script work, poetry, commedia del arte and physical theatre. The DJ School

The DJ School provides courses for party and club DJs in Ireland. In addition, the DJ training offers you practical, hands-on training by leading DJs in Ireland.

Since 1999, The DJ School (formerly the Dublin Media Centre) has teamed up with Star DJs, Ireland’s largest DJ providers, and together run the DJ School – the leading training programme in Ireland to cater exclusively for night-club and party jocks.

The DJ School is an intensive course held at a city centre nightclub. This course is comprised of specialist modules covering the various essential aspects of DJ training.  All classes are taught by experienced disc jockeys, who work in some of Dublin’s top clubs and venues.

The DJ School runs over three consecutive Saturdays.  No experience is needed to take part in this course and all equipment is supplied.

The Radio School

The Radio School has been in operation since 1995 and offers a range of radio broadcasting courses designed and developed to meet the demand for highly-trained personnel in the Broadcasting and Media Industries.

Their radio course modules are highly intensive programmes aimed at giving participants a thorough grounding in the areas of broadcasting. Areas such as voice-training, editing, news-reading to digital recording, radio commercial production and engineering are topics included in their syllabi.
