What evening class did you take and where was it on?

I’ve done numerous courses – I did half my Leaving Cert by night in a different school and then I did one in advertising and PR in the Rathmines College of Commerce.

Why did you choose the subject?

I was working in advertising at the time and I wanted to better myself.

How did you like the course? Were you top of the class?

Loved it. Loved the college. Loved the library. Loved the idea of studying at night and I learned a lot.

What did you think the whole experience of taking an evening course? Would you recommend it?

Yes, absolutely. I found the lecturers brilliant; invariably, they were working at their subject during the day. Also, there was a creativity to it – guest lecturers, trips etc…

What courses would you consider taking in the future and why?

D.I.Y, car mechanics – anything with my hands…
